Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Launch Day Guide: Every Pre-Order Bonus And Special Edition

GameStop's Jedi Fallen Order bundles include an exclusive figure.

Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order launched today, November 15, 2019. EA's latest take on Lucasfilm's universe has arrived on PS4, Xbox One, and PC through Origin, The Epic Games Store, and Steam, with the latter being a surprise reveal from the company as part of EA's larger return to Valve's storefront. This means you have quite a few options when it comes to getting your copy, which are complicated further by all the Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order pre-order bonuses and special editions.

Jedi Fallen Order comes from Respawn Entertainment, known for the Titanfall series and, more recently, Apex Legends. Despite Respawn's prowess with multiplayer games, the Star Wars game is entirely single-player, and has no microtransactions. The story takes place after Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith and follows a young Padawan named Cal Kestis (played by Gotham actor Cameron Monaghan) who is on the run from the Empire and its Inquisitors after Order 66 was issued, directing all Jedi to be hunted down and killed. Cal is working on completing his Jedi training while also dealing with the tragic events of his past. We recently got some extensive hands-on time with Jedi Fallen Order and found its opening hours strong, if somewhat familiar.

If the game's lightsaber-focused combat, force powers, open exploration, story, and puzzle-solving sound up your alley and you want to pre-order Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order, you have a few ways to do that. Here you'll find the latest information about all the Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order pre-order bonuses and various editions. You can also catch up on all the details we learned about Jedi Fallen Order during this year's EA Play and check out GameSpot's interview with game director Stig Asmussen where he discusses, among other things, Bloodborne's influence on Jedi Fallen Order.

Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order pre-order bonuses

No Caption Provided

It might already be too late to pickup some of the The Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order pre-order bonuses, but depending on your luck with a particular retailer (especially physical ones), you might still be able to snag them. These bonuses include a trio of cosmetic bonuses for Cal's lightsaber: You can give your weapon of choice a new color with the Orange Lighsaber Blade Color, or make the handle look a different with the Mygeeto Campaign Hilt or the Umbaran Campaign Hilt. The final pre-order bonus is a new skin for BD-1, called, fittingly enough, Bee-D-1 Skin. If you pre-order Jedi Fallen Order at the PlayStation Store, you'll also get a PS4 theme.

Along with those standard items, GameStop's still offering a $15 Fandango promo code for anyone who pre-orders either the standard or Deluxe edition of Jedi Fallen Order on their site, so you might be able to get the credit if you hurry. The promo coincides, of course with Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker's December 20 theater release. See more info on how to redeem the offer at GameStop.

And if you're thinking about picking the game up on PC, Epic has a bonus to tempt you over to their side. Anyone who buys Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order on the Epic Games Store will receive an Imperial Stormtrooper outfit in Fortnite for free. This deal ends November 17, so if you're a big Star Wars and Fortnite fan, you might want to re-think your Steam purchase. Otherwise, you can purchase the outfit on any platform for 1500 V-Bucks, or about $15.

Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order standard edition

The standard edition includes the base game and any Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order pre-order bonuses that might still be on offer. You can buy Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order at the following retailers:

PS4

Xbox One

PC

Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order Deluxe edition

No Caption Provided

The Deluxe edition includes a director's cut with behind-the-scenes features and additional cosmetic equipment, plus any applicable Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order pre-order bonuses. It's only $10 more than the standard edition. You can pre-order it at the following retailers:

PS4

Xbox One

PC

Despite Respawn's prowess with multiplayer games, the Star Wars game is entirely single-player, and *has no microtransactions*

They'll soon be back, and in greater numbers.

I highly doubt that. EA knows the fans wants a single player Star Wars games and no reason why they would sabotage such an opportunity of a life time to clear their image. They want their Witcher 3 experience.

It's also worth note that Disney is on patrol watch on EA's buttthis time around.

Already download the game from EA Origin Premier as a membership, no need to pay full price and I'm very much hype playing this game.

With all the recent big game announcements lately (Death Stranding, TLOU 2, FF7, Shenmue 3, etc…) I completely forgot this game was launching soon.

I’m personally not the biggest Star Wars fan but Respawn’s promise of a more story driven experience has me excited for this latest entry in the Star Wars mythos.

risky,risky,risky

Pre ordering any game w/ recent mega letdowns Fallout76/Anthem.

pre ordering a EA game.

pre ordering a EA StarWars game after Battlefront 1 + 2 & raping of the license and using SW monopoly so gamers.

Im only pre ordering guarantees.

And for me that's a small list of sequels to games I know i'll like Borderlands,DyingLight. or Hideo Kajima's DeathStranding..

@sippio: Not risky at all (on Xbox). My last 2 preorders were Fallout 76 and Anthem, the former I canceled after the beta and the second I really enjoy. There's no 'need' to do it now, but I enjoy the franchise and more information/ gameplay will emerge well before the cancelation cut-off in case of serious issues. So I'm happy to support a single-player game (though I also enjoy multiplayers).

Lucasarts not far from the end of their run were already doing stupid things with star wars games even before EA claimed the license, they canceled quite a few games too.

Really? Is it that hard to do 1 version for a single player? Pretending to be something you are clearly is not looking good when Respawn just showed a trailer with no gameplay. Honestly its hard to get excited when they cancelled two games that suppose to be single player, Anthem BS which is still going on fyi, is never acceptable in 2019 and last two games were a scam and anti consumer. Worse Company and always will be. Worse than Activision and Blizzard.

All these pre-orders look interesting but I can’t help but feel they are missing one. Hmmm, what was it called again?
