During an earnings call, EA shared sales projections for several of the company's upcoming games, such as Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order. EA also spoke about a new Need for Speed title and Plants vs. Zombies game as well.

In an earnings call, EA CFO Blake Jorgensen said it expects Jedi Fallen Order to sell between 6 million and 8 million units; the new Need for Speed title to sell around 4 million copies; and the new Plants vs. Zombies title to shift in the low single-digit millions. These figures are presumably covering the current fiscal year and not necessarily over their respective lifetimes.

Now Playing: Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order — Official Story Reveal Trailer

Little is known about the new Need for Speed and Plants vs. Zombies titles, but they are expected to be released in 2019 between October and December. Both titles are presumed to launch on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. The Plants vs. Zombies title is confirmed to be a shooter, so it could be the rumored Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 3. EA's Need for Speed studio is Ghost Games, but the studio hasn't announced its next title yet.

Jedi Fallen Order is in development at Apex Legends and Titanfall studio Respawn Entertainment. The first story trailer was released during this year's Star Wars Celebration. One of the six writers for Jedi: Fallen Order, Chris Avellone, said that story is "very important" to developer Respawn. "I think they do a good job of introducing various narrative layers into their games already, but they think the story is an important part of what they perceive to be a Star Wars game," Avellone explained. "That's one of the reasons I like Respawn, because when they tackle something like that, they understand what the important points are."

Scheduled to release November 15 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order takes place in the aftermath of Revenge of the Sith.
