Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is heading to Disney+ next week. It has been confirmed that the final movie in the Skywalker Saga will hit the streaming service on Star Wars Day, which is May 4.

The arrival of The Rise of Skywalker on Disney+ means that every Star Wars movie will be available on the service. The film was released in December and, despite mixed reviews, has grossed more than $1.05 billion at the worldwide box office. It was directed by JJ Abrams, who previously helmed 2015's The Force Awakens.

The Rise of Skywalker isn't the only new Star Wars release set to arrive on Disney+ on Star Wars Day. The eight-part documentary series Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian focuses on the the making of the first live-action Star Wars show The Mandalorian, and Episode 1 will premiere on May 4, with subsequent episodes releasing each Friday. The series finale to the long-running animated series The Clone Wars will also be released on May 4. In addition, Disney+ will undergo a "week-long concept art takeover," with the artwork for every Star Wars movie changed to showcase original concept paintings from notable artists such as Ralph McQuarrie and Doug Chiang.

Season 2 of The Mandalorian is expected to arrive later this year, and the show has already been greenlit for Season 3. There are also several other Star Wars shows in development for Disney+. Ewan McGregor is set to reprise his role as Obi-Wan Kenobi in a series set between Episodes III and IV, while there's a show based on the Rogue One character of Cassian Andor in the works. In addition, it was reported last week that Russian Doll co-creator Leslye Headland is working on a new Star Wars series.
