XCOM 2 has seen its fair share of mods, including one that adds a gun shaped like a puppy. Now, some modders have created ways to make the alien-invaded Earth seem a bit more like a galaxy far far away.

Steam user Platoon released a mod called "Star Wars Helmets," which allows players to outfit soldiers with various helmets from the Star Wars universe (via Game Informer). Players can make their soldiers look like stormtroopers (both classic and First Order), scout troopers, Boba Fett, and even a Republic Commando clone trooper. You can see the mod for yourself here.
The mod also adds two face paints that will cover exposed necks and help your soldiers look the part.
Star Wars fans can utilize a few voice packs to take the role-playing even further. Players can make their soldiers sound like the bounty hunter Boba Fett, Sev from Republic Commando, and a Twi'lek woman.
XCOM 2 has been subject to some performance issues since its launch earlier this month. Director Jake Solomon says Firaxis is "working furiously" on fixes.
