Iconic actor Harrison Ford, known usually for adopting an irascible persona in public appearances and during media interviews, struck a markedly different tone and appeared visibly emotional during this year's Star Wars Celebration. Ford paid tribute to franchise composer/conductor John Williams, who was there to perform the theme for the upcoming Disney+ series Obi-Wan Kenobi--and also celebrate his 90th birthday, which was earlier this year.

"It's a special honor for me to be able to congratulate John on his 90th birthday," said Ford. "I told John on another occasion… that that music follows me everywhere I go and I'm happy about it."

Joked Ford, "That music was playing on the upper levels of the operating room when I had my last colonoscopy. I passed."

Rounding out the tribute, Ford also added, "We all know about what John does musically. What you may not know and what I have come to appreciate is the warmth, generosity, and the boyish spirit of this man."

Williams then conducted the Indiana Jones theme to kick off announcements for Indiana Jones 5. During the Lucasfilm panel at Star Wars Celebration, it was revealed that Indy 5 will hit theaters on June 30, 2023. Fans were also treated to a first look at Ford in his iconic Indy outfit--41 years since he originated the role. "I am really proud of the movie we made," Ford said. "So I'll be seeing you around campus."

Other major announcements from the event included the Andor trailer and release date, details on The Mandalorian Season 3, and information about a new Disney+ TV show project titled Star Wars: Skeleton Crew starring Jude Law.
