At Sony's E3 2016 press conference, the company officially revealed the project that it is partnering with EA to create: a PlayStation VR experience for Star Wars Battlefront called X-Wing VR Missions.

The short trailer only showed a brief glimpse of the gameplay of X-Wing Missions, but from the video it seems pretty self-explanatory, albeit awesome: It'll be an X-Wing dogfighting game in VR.

It will be available this holiday and may be limited in scope--it's described in a press release as an "all-new mission," suggesting there is only a single one. Existing owners of Battlefront will get it for free, though you'll obviously need a PS VR in order to play it.

Sony also spoke more on its plans for PS VR, which you can read about here.
