When Electronic Arts announced the Star Wars Battlefront Ultimate Edition last week, the company didn't say how much it would cost. Now that the game's preorder page has gone live on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC, we know that the premium version will cost $120, twice the price of the base game.

Included with the Ultimate Edition is the main game, its DLC pass, and Deluxe Edition content, which includes five items: Ion Grenade, Ion Torpedo, Han Solo's DL-44 blaster, Ion Shock emote, and the Victory emote.

The Deluxe Edition sells for $70 on its own, while the DLC pass (which comes with at least four expansions) goes for $50, meaning the Ultimate Edition is really just a convenience bundle that saves you from buying everything separately. There are no extra perks listed on the Ultimate Edition's product pages.

Xbox One owners with an EA Access membership will save 10 percent on all Battlefront content, meaning they can expect the following price points:

  • Star Wars Battlefront -- $54
  • Star Wars Battlefront DLC Pass -- $45
  • Star Wars Battlefront Deluxe Edition -- $63
  • Star Wars Battlefront Ultimate Edition -- $108

Battlefront's multiplayer beta ended on October 13; it attracted 9 million players across Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC, representing the largest beta in EA's history.

The full game launches on November 17, about a month before JJ Abrams' Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens hits theaters. In other recent news, DICE has admitted that the 40-player Walker Assault mode is poorly balanced, while Sony has released a new live-action ad for the PS4 edition.
