Star Wars 8 Is Halfway Through Filming, Director Posts Set Photos

The set photos feature an X-Wing and someone with a top-shaped helmet.


Star Wars Episode VIII hits theaters next year, and its director, Rian Johnson, has revealed today that they're halfway through shooting the movie. He also shared a couple set photos that include an X-Wing and someone with a top-shaped helmet.

The director posted the photos on his Tumblr page along with the modified Army of Darkness quote "Good. Bad. I'm the guy with the microfiber sham." Johnson added, "I can't believe we're halfway through the shoot. (We're halfway through the shoot!)" You can check out the X-Wing below and the top-shaped helmet at the bottom of the article.

Johnson has previously posted Episode VIII set photos featuring Lupita Nyong'o's character, Maz Kanata. We've also seen Star Wars set photos leak and a visit from the British Royal Family. Have you ever wanted to see Prince Harry hug Chewbacca?
