Legendary comic book artist Stan Lee will deliver a talk on February 1 at this year's D.I.C.E. (Design, Innovate, Communicate and Entertain) summit in Las Vegas. The cocreator of Spider-Man and the Incredible Hulk will share his thoughts on "Superheroes--Creating Characters for the Ages" and the art of developing enduring characters and environments. In 2001, Lee cofounded POW! (Purveyors of Wonder), which specializes in franchises for television, DVDs, video games, merchandising, and related markets. "Interactive entertainment is now the most potent platform for reaching today’s youth," Lee said. "It'll be way cool to meet with the video game industry's top artists...and to kick around ideas for creating characters and storylines for the future." For more information on D.I.C.E. and its creator, the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences, visit the official Web site.
