Square Enix just contributed their set of announcements to today's round of E3 2015 press conferences.
The published showed off a variety of games like Kindgom Hearts 3, Just Cause 3, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, and many more.
Here's a roundup of all the biggest news and announcements during the conference.
Previously Announced Games With New Info:
- Just Cause 3 gets an appropriately explosive new gameplay trailer filled with explosions. Avalanche Studios took to the stage to announce that the game will release in North America on December 1, 2015 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. A hands-on trailer was also shown explaining the new features of the game.
- Brian Horton of Crystal Dynamics showed a cinematic trailer for Rise of the Tomb Raider that reveals behind-the-scenes details for the game.
- The same Final Fantasy VII Remake trailer from the Sony E3 2015 press conference was shown. More details will be coming this winter. Also, the port offreve original Final Fantasy VII that was previously announced for the will be coming sometime this summer. An iOS version will also release this Winter.
- Last night's World of Final Fantasy from the Sony E3 2015 press conference is shown once more. It's going to be on PS4 and PS Vita first, and will release in 2016.
- Kingdom Hearts 3 gets new gameplay footage. It features Sora and company fighting off Heartless in a variety of different environments.
- IO Interactive revealed a gameplay trailer for the new Hitman that goes over the process of an assassination contract. The game is confirmed to release on December 8, 2015.
- Square Enix Montreal showed a gameplay trailer of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. It is set to release in early 2016 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
Newly Announced Games:
- A sequel to NIER was announced. It is being directed by Yosuke Saito with development duties handled by Platinum Games.
- Building on their mobile game library, Square Enix revealed Tomb Raider Go. The game will feature turn-based gameplay and will release on phones and tablets.
- The mobile title Kingdom Hearts Unchained Key will be receiving a North American release. Its story will tie into Kingdom Hearts 3.
- Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness, previously announced in Japan, will also be getting a release in North America and Europe in 2016 as a PS4 exclusive. A new gameplay trailer was also shown as well.
- Square Enix announced the Final Fantasy Portable App. Besides that, no other details were revealed on the nature of the app.
- A new studio called Tokyo RPG Factory was revealed. The studio is committed to making new RPGs for Square Enix. An all-new RPG tentatively titled Project Setsuna was announced to be in development by them. It will release in 2016.
