Squad Leader Charges In

GameSpot has seven new screenshots from Hasbro's upcoming PC conversion of the Avalon Hill board game classic Squad Leader. Squad Leader brings back the tactical military-strategy gameplay that was long a hallmark of MicroProse.

One of the most prominent turn-based wargames slated for release this year, Squad Leader focuses on tactical warfare in three campaigns: Normandy (as the Americans), The Battle of the Bulge (as the Germans), and Operation Market Garden (as the British). In this tactical-level wargame, you'll control individual soldiers whose distinct strengths and weaknesses will play an essential role in the outcome of the battle as a whole.
