Sony's Gamescom briefing slated for August 20
Presentation will be "packed with news" for announced and unannounced PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PS Vita games.
Sony's PlayStation briefing at Gamescom will take place Tuesday, August 20 at 6 p.m. BST, the company announced today.
The presentation will showcase "the future of all things PlayStation" and will be "packed with news" on both announced and unannounced PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita games.
"Suffice to say, you won't want to miss it," Sony said.
Sony's Gamescom press conference is expected to focus on the company's PS4 lineup.
After the press conference Tuesday, Sony will hold a panel discussion with guests like Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida, Beyond: Two Souls director David Cage, and Assassin's Creed writer Darby McDevitt.
GameSpot will be in attendance at Gamescom, which runs officially August 21-25. Microsoft executive Phil Spencer will host the Gamescom keynote address on August 21, while Electronic Arts will hold its briefing on August 20 at 10 a.m. EDT.
