Sony announced today that its new touring campaign with the NFL will take it to 25 cities across America, beginning today with St. Louis and ending February 18, 2001, in Oklahoma City. The festival is part of Sony's new marketing program to support the PlayStation 2. The tour will re-create the excitement of an NFL game day in a family environment, as well as allow up to 60 participants at a time to demo the PlayStation 2. It will also feature more than 30 PlayStation kiosks and several upcoming PlayStation titles.

"The NFL Experience On Tour provides a great avenue for us to reach new and existing PlayStation fans," said Sharon Shapiro, director of promotions for Sony Computer Entertainment America. "This unique sponsorship fits in perfectly with our progressive marketing program to support our gaming platforms, while also allowing fans to experience a taste of our innovative title offerings, including key football franchises, NFL GameDay 2001 and NCAA GameBreaker 2001."
