Sony taking up new Wild Arms

TOKYO--Sony Computer Entertainment has announced that the fifth installment of its popular Wild Arms role-playing game series is currently in development by Media Vision Entertainment for the PlayStation 2. The game will be titled Wild Arms: The Vth Vanguard. A teaser is currently available for viewing at the Wild Arms series' 10th-anniversary commemoration Web site. No release date or details have been announced yet. However, considering that the game is slated for release as a 10th-anniversary title, it will most likely come out during 2006, as the original Wild Arms was released in Japan in December 1996.
