Sony Picks Winner
Using its MLB '98 title, Sony picks the winner of the World Series. Yeah, right, whatever...
It happens every time a big sporting event gets close - be it the Super Bowl, Stanely Cup, or NBA Finals. A video game company, to show that its game is as real as it gets, pits the finalists against each other and predicts the real-life winners.
Sony recently did this with MLB '98 to predict the outcome of the World Series. The determined winner, as foreseen by Sony, will be the Florida Marlins. Here's how MLB '98 called the match.
