Sony picks up Take The Oath domain
Ahead of PlayStation 4 launch this month, Sony pays nearly $3,000 for new domain name for unspecified product/service.

Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) registered the domain name TakeTheOath.com on October 30, it was revealed by WHOIS documents related to the site.
Fusible reports that Sony paid nearly $3,000 to purchase the domain name from its previous owner. The URL, registered to a senior SCEA paralegal, currently does not resolve to anything.
It is not clear if Take The Oath is a new product, marketing slogan, or something else entirely. A SCEA representative was not immediately available to comment.
Sony's PS4 launches in 11 days on November 15 in North America for $400. The system's software launch lineup spans 23 titles, including today's addition Need for Speed: Rivals.
