Sony developing Ape Escape 3

TOKYO--Maybe they're trying extrahard to keep the monkeys from escaping, but Sony Computer Entertainment made a stealth announcement today on its official Web site by revealing that Ape Escape 3 is in development. Titled Saru Getchu! 3 (tentative) in Japan, the game title was slipped into the site's official release schedule overnight.

The only detail on the game that has been released thus far is that it is indeed in development for the PlayStation 2. GameSpot will bring you any additional information on Ape Escape 3 as it arrives.
