yeah yeah just show us the games. We wont know anything until later on with when we see more of the games until then who cares what system is stronger or turns on with voices?

400 bucks isn't "cheap" persay. But I think the PS4 is a better value because it isn't full of pointless things that drive the cost up more than it needs to be.

Sony seems to be trying to give gamers more value with the hardware superior ps4 for less money than the xb1, or the PS+ system where you get a 18 games right off the bat and 5 more each month with other benefits for just 50 bucks while XBLG only gives you 2 games a month for more money.

So despite being less expensive I don't think cheap because cheap to me sounds like poor quality. Ive paid 20 bucks for headphones that were cheap while 3 dollar ones I bought were great.

Looks like they learned from the PS3 launch.... never again launch a system at $600 for the cheaper version.

Of course being cheaper than your competitor is NOT A BAD THING! if you can give your audience complete satisfaction and make them want your product while being less expensive than the competitor, you've won the race!!! i mean lets go back to when they wanted us to tweet whether we were for xbox one or ps4.....what else is there to say? not only is xbox one over priced....but the whole online 247 thing and you cant play old games...your not going to market a product very well like that AT ALL, hasn't worked for microsoft now and it wont work for them later on until they decide to step up their game and listen to the consumer. And before anyone says i am butthurt, i prefer xbox 360 over ps3 anyday and i would like to say the same about the xbox one over the ps4 but i cant do that right now.

With how awful the economy is..... that 100 bucks will make a bigger difference than it would otherwise.

I like Sony much more the M$ in this regard, but I still cannot forgive them the security breaches they had a few years ago.

WOW this guy is a genius. Been cheaper is never a bad thing. No tell that too ninento. Been cheaper is good during a recession. I should have sold my pc and bought the ps4. Oh wait pc games are cheaper. humble pack, and steam summer sale. guess 30-40 dollar worth of pc game is always better than 1 50 dollar ps4/xbone game.

MS getting rid of MS points another reason to go to PS4 .....

They should have paid to get more than 10 PS4s at gamescom. I did not bother standing in line for 4 hours just to try the controller. There were dozens of X1s everywhere albeit only with minor titles ala lococylce but that sufficed to fall in love with the controller once again

I hope both consoles do great. That way both companies will keeo trying to do their best.

It can be bad to be cheaper if you are also inferior. I'm not saying that the PS4 is, but there's no absolutes like that in the free market.

I love how so many people bash the xbox but yet they won the console war over the years, have a better online community, and have you ever noticed that pro gamers are always playing on xboxs.Hearing all this fanboy crap has really put me off as a gamer, it doesn't matter what sony or Microsoft will do because you all won't be happy.

Hey Microsoft, Offer the xbox1 without the kinect and I'll buy it. As of now I've pre-ordered a PS4/bf4 bundle with hopes that their PS network is better now that it is a pay service. Sony needs to convince gamers who are jumping ship from microsoft that their online service is as solid or will be as good as xbox live has been for so many years.

Cheaper than my PC you say. . Hmm, the selling point of the PS3 was the fact that there was no fee to play online; so how is the console cheaper than my pc when i have to keep paying to keep playing? FREE online play or GTFO.
