Announced as part of a 2021 upcoming releases blog post on the Steamforged website, Sonic: The Card Game's specifics are mostly being kept secret for now.

That could mean there is a timer element as part of the game, but we'll have to wait and see when Steamforged provides more information. It's no stranger to video game adaptations, as it's also producing a Pac-Man card game and expansions for Horizon: Zero Dawn - The Board Game right now. Past games include Resident Evil 2, Devil May Cry: The Bloody Palace, and both a card game and board game for Dark Souls.
