Sonic Superstars is heading to PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, and PC on October 17. Sega finally confirmed the release date at Gamescom. That means the Blue Blur will launch the same week as Super Mario Bros. Wonder, setting the stage for a throwback battle between the two iconic mascots. Sonic Superstars preorders are available now, and you can get a pretty cool preorder bonus by ordering early.

Sonic Superstars might look like a remake (thanks to its gorgeous 2D graphics), but it’s actually an entirely new adventure.
