Sonic in Phantasy Star Online Version 2

Sega Japan has announced that Sonic and his friends will appear in Phantasy Star Online Version 2, in celebration of Sonic's 10th anniversary. Sonic and other characters such as Tails, Amy, Knuckles, and Dr. Robotnik, will appear in lobbies and other areas from June 16 through June 30. Unfortunately, North American PSO Version 2 players won't have the opportunity to experience Sonic's cameo appearance in the game, as it won't be released until early July in that territory. Phantasy Star Online Version 2 is currently available in Japan. Meanwhile, Sonic Adventure 2 will be released worldwide on June 19.
