Stuffed animal company Build-A-Bear today announced that it's adding Sonic the Hedgehog to its roster. Available from today is a 17-inch Sonic plush, complete with a gold ring wrist accessory. You also get an "exclusive" 4X6 Sonic print designed by the Sonic Team; it shows Sonic holding a teddy bear.

The bear sells for $35, and unlike some of Build-A-Bear's other options, it's only available pre-stuffed in the online bundle. Build-A-Bear is also selling a 13-inch pre-stuffed Tails plush for $13, while a Sonic 3 Special Stage digital sound chip is sold separately, though pricing was not mentioned.

If you already have a bear or want to accessorize a new one with a piece of Sonic gear, Build-A-Bear is also selling a blue and grey Sonic t-shirt for $7. Click through the images in the gallery above to see all of Build-A-Bear's Sonic toys and accessories. Go to the Build-A-Bear website to place an order.

The Sonic plush will be available at physical Build-A-Bear stores starting on December 3, at which time customers can stuff it themselves. The pre-stuffed Tails, Sonic t-shirt, and digital sound chip will also arrive in stores that day.

The sound chip contains background music from Sonic 3. It can be placed in Sonic's hands or feet before being sewn up. You can listen to the track here.

Sonic is not Build-A-Bear's first video game item. The store already sells ones based on popular Pokemon like Pikachu and Eevee. In terms of other licensed toys, Build-A-Bear also offers bears based on characters from popular franchises such as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, My Little Pony, Minions, and Peanuts.

The next Sonic game is Sonic Mania, which comes out in 2017 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
