RedOctane has announced that controllers for Guitar Hero have gone on sale separately, priced £29.99 ($54). The peripherals are exactly the same as those included with the full game, and are modeled on the Gibson SG guitar. The extra controller will allow Guitar Hero to be played in multiplayer, where players can thrash out different sections of each song for points based on accuracy, timing, and star power. The Gibson replica Guitar Hero SG controller is being released in limited quantities through retail stores and online through the game's Web site.
