Fans of the dystopian sci-fi show Snowpiercer got a taste of the upcoming second season back in July, when Season 1 ended with this short teaser. Season 2 arrives later this month, and the full final trailer has now been released.

The latest promo puts the focus on the this season's big cast addition--Sean Bean as Mr. Wilford, the villainous creator of the show's titular vehicle. Wilford, who was presumed dead throughout the first season, is on board a second train and is heading to take over Snowpiercer. Daveed Diggs and Jennifer Connelly return as Layton and Melanie, having now formed a truce after the violent events of Season 1. Check the new trailer out below.

Snowpiercer Season 2 premieres on TNT on January 25. The show also stars Mickey Summer (American Made), Annalise Basso (Slender Man), Steven Ogg (The Walking Dead), and Timothy V. Murphy (Sons of Anarchy).

While Season 3 is yet to be officially announced, showrunner Graeme Manson previously suggested that the show could have a long future. "There are as many Snowpiercer stories as there are trains that you can imagine," he told Collider. "I think it's a franchise that you could reboot, in a different time, on a different train, or with a different cast. With this cast, let's hope that we're looking at five or six seasons."

Snowpiercer is based on the 2013 movie of the same title, which was directed by Bong Joon-ho. There's also a TV version of Bong's Oscar-winning drama Parasite on the way from HBO. The Parasite series was announced in January last year, and will be co-produced by Bong and Adam McKay (Vice, Succession).
