The D-O-Double-G is looking at Amazon for his new comedy series Oaklandia along with Vince Vaughn and Chris Powell.

Snoop Dogg has been animated in the past into such shows as King of the Hill, but Deadline is reporting that the entrepreneur is looking to develop one of his own: Oaklandia. Snoop will serve as a voice actor as well as executive producer alongside Vince Vaughn.

The new Amazon animated series is written by Daniel Dominguez (Michael B. Jordan's Gen: Lock) and Chris "Comedian CP" Powell (Detroiters). The show will be set in Oakland, and at the time of this writing, that's all we know about the show.

Oaklandia will be Amazon's latest entry of adult-animated programming. Earlier this year, it ordered Fairfax, a series based on the phenomenon of Los Angeles hypebeast streetwear culture, from Matt Hausfater, Aaron Buchsbaum, and Teddy Riley. Last year, Amazon also ordered a second season of rotoscope animated series Undone.

Along with King of the Hill, Snoop has lent his voice to The Simpsons, Crank Yankers, The Cleveland Show, 2019's Addams Family animated movie as Cousin Itt, Adult Swim's Mike Tyson's Mysteries, and the recent Spongebob movie Sponge On The Run.

Oaklandia has no premiere date at this time.
