Snag This 7-Game Star Wars Collection On Nintendo Switch For Only $40
The Star Wars: Heritage Pack gets you seven great games, and right now it's available for its lowest price ever.
Multiple major retailers are discounting Star Wars: Heritage Pack for Nintendo Switch for Star Wars Day. This is the first major discount on the physical collection since its launch late last year. At the moment, you can snag Star Wars: Heritage Pack for $40 at Amazon, Best Buy, and Walmart. GameStop sold out of copies earlier in the week, so you may want to move fast. We'd expect this deal to disappear after Star Wars Day (May 4). The Heritage Pack comes with seven of the best classic Star Wars games you can play today. For clarity, there actually is another Star Wars: Heritage Pack (discounted on PS4), but it's an older compilation that only comes with four games.
Star Wars: Heritage Pack
$40 (was $60)
The physical edition of Star Wars: Heritage Pack typically sells for $60. Oddly enough, the digital version of the Star Wars: Heritage Pack still goes for $80 on the Switch eShop. In comparison, the physical edition was already a bargain at full price, but now you're getting a 50% discount over the digital edition.
Star Wars: Heritage collection pulls together seven classic Star Wars games:
- Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy
- Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast
- Star Wars Episode I Racer
- Star Wars Republic Commando
- Star Wars: The Force Unleashed
- Knights of the Old Republic (Downloadable)
- Knights of the Old Republic 2 (Downloadable)
While the first five games are playable directly off the Switch cartridge, both Knights of the Old Republic are digital versions that need to be downloaded from the eShop--so make sure you have a good internet connection and a bit of space on your microSD card. Combined, the two KOTOR games clock in just shy of 30GB. If you need to expand your storage, microSD cards are pretty cheap these days. You can get a 256GB SanDisk Ultra for only $20 (as $26). For a larger capacity option, check out this Lexar 1TB card for only $67.49 (list price is $130).
For another nostalgic Star Wars experience, check out Star Wars: Dark Forces Remastered, which released earlier this year and is on sale for $21 (was $30). PC players should also check out GOG's DRM-free Star Wars game bundles:
- Star Wars RPG Bundle -- $4.24 (
$20) - Star Wars Strategy Bundle -- $10 (
$32) - Star Wars Pilots Bundle -- $10.36 (
$56) - Star Wars Force Bundle -- $20.33 (
$50)
And for a more recent game set in a galaxy far, far away, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is on sale for $30 (was $70) on PS5 and Xbox Series X.
