Snag God Of War Ragnarok On PS5 For Only $50

This is one of the best prices we've seen for God of War Ragnarok since it launched last November.

God of War Ragnarok earned heaps of awards last year, thanks to its engaging combat system, nuanced storyline, and memorable characters. Few discounts have cropped up for the game since launching in November 2022--but right now, you can snag a preowned copy for just $50. This is one of the best prices we’ve seen for the blockbuster title, so be sure to check it out while you can.

The deal is being offered by GameFly, although there’s no obligation to become a paying member to score the discount. You’ll need to create a free account (which takes all of 30 seconds and requires an email address), but that’s a minor inconvenience for an otherwise impressive offer. Considering new copies of God of War Ragnarok retail for $70, picking up the hit game for $50 is a solid deal.

If you are interested in joining GameFly, the service is currently running a free 30-day trial. This gives you unlimited game and movie rentals, new release rentals, $5 Reward Coupons, and a bunch of other perks. Once the trial expires, there are a variety of other plans to choose from based on your gaming needs.

Our God of War Ragnarok review gave the game a 9/10, praising just about everything it has to offer. Whether you’re ripping apart monsters or soaking up a cutscene, the long-awaited sequel more than lives up to expectations.

“Despite being a story about warring gods and the end of the world, the soul of the game is something far more sentimental,” wrote critic Tamoor Hussain. “For every moment of brutality, there is one of genuine and relatable emotion. How they land will vary from person to person, but there were multiple that left me with tears welling up. If nothing else, God of War Ragnarok further cements Sony Santa Monica's narrative team as one of the best in the business.”
