Update: Skyrim composer Jeremy Soule has spoken out about the concert, saying he has no involvement and hadn't heard about it until today.

Original Story: Live music organizer Senbla today announced a partnership with Bethesda to hold what's being called the world's first orchestral concert for the music from The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

The event, called Skyrim in Concert, will be held at the London Palladium on November 16. It aims to celebrate the upcoming launch of Skyrim's remastered edition, which comes out for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One at the end of October.

Skyrim in Concert attendees will hear the music that composer Jeremy Soule wrote for the award-winning 2011 RPG, as well as "brand-new arrangements." It will be performed by the Winterhold Philharmonic Orchestra and Choir. You can expect to hear songs like "Far Horizons," "The Streets of Whiterun," and of course the main "Dragonborn" theme.

Tickets for Skyrim in Concert go on sale through Ticketmaster UK starting at 10 AM local time on October 4. They will be available at a number of prices, including £76.50, £56.50, £46.50, £36.50, £26.50.

Skyrim's remastered edition, called the Special Edition, launches on October 28 for PS4 and Xbox One. It sports a number of new visual effects, including god-rays, new snow shaders, and more. Check out this video to see a graphics comparison that shows off how much better the Special Edition looks.

The Skyrim remaster also includes support for PC mods on Xbox One, just like Fallout 4. However, mods won't be supported on the PS4 edition because Sony apparently won't allow them.
