Skull And Bones Open Beta Pre-Load And Start Times Announced

Ubisoft's swashbuckling pirate game Skull and Bones launches on February 16, but you won't have to wait that long to check it out. An open beta for the pirate game will run February 8-11, and now the exact launch times and pre-loading information have been announced.

Skull and Bones has been in development for numerous years and has undergone a number of changes, so it's nice that fans will be able to try the game before buying it. For those who decide to buy Skull and Bones after the open beta, players might be happy to learn that all progress will carry forward.

Pre-loading for the Skull and Bones beta begins February 6 at 1 AM PT / 4 AM ET in North America, ahead of the beta product going live on February 7 at 6 PM PT / 9 PM ET. You can see the full beta pre-load and start time information in the graph below.

Skull and Bones launches February 16 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through Ubisoft Connect and the Epic Games Store. It won't be available on Steam. For people looking to stream the game, Ubisoft will offer Skull and Bones through Amazon Luna.

People who subscribe to Ubisoft+ can play the full version of Skull and Bones three days early on February 13. Launch is just the beginning for Skull and Bones, as Ubisoft plans to support the game's release with a variety of post-launch content.
