Skater XL Suffers Three-Week Delay On All Platforms

Further, a new date for Skater XL's Nintendo Switch port will be announced "in the coming weeks."

Comments

Despite receiving a July 7 release date last month, developer Easy Day Studios has pushed its skateboarding simulator, Skater XL, back by three weeks. Due to circumstances outside of the studio's control, the game will now launch on July 28 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

One notable exception is the Nintendo Switch. Easy Day said that a new launch date for the console-handheld hybrid will be announced "in the coming weeks." Until then, the studio confirmed that it will show off "more new content [and] features that will be available at launch" and continue to polish the game before it comes out. Skater XL is currently in Steam Early Access and retails for $20.
