Oversized playground in Las Vegas gives new meaning to the words "Game Arcade."

GameWorks, the giant gaming arcade that first landed in Seattle, will open its second location, in Las Vegas, on May 10th. GameWorks Las Vegas will weigh in at 47,000 square feet of gaming - right on the strip.

It will feature GameWorks signature attractions such as Vertical Reality, the 17-foot high arcade game; the GameArc, a network of sophisticated game stations that allows eight players to battle against each other; and the Loft, a place where patrons can not only play classic video games such as Pac-Man and Asteroids, but are also able to surf the web. Exclusive to the Las Vegas GameWorks is the world's tallest freestanding rock climbing structure measuring 75 feet high. "The reaction from guests visiting our first location in Seattle has been overwhelming, and we look forward to building on this excitement in Las Vegas," said Michael Montgomery, president and chief operating officer of Sega GameWorks.
