Six Spider-Man Movies Are (Finally) Coming To Disney Plus

The original Raimi Spider-Man trilogy and The Amazing Spider-Man will be later joined by Homecoming and Venom for your streaming pleasure.

It's an absolute Spider-Man homecoming of sorts on April 21 when Sam Raimi's original Spider-Man trilogy, along with Marc Webb's The Amazing Spider-Man, will be released on Disney+. Spider-Man: Homecoming and Venom will be joining them next month on May 12.

This announcement comes as somewhat surprising as this was kept out of the Disney+ April additions posted last month. The Spider-Man movie collection is spread over different streaming services, mainly found at Prime Video and Netflix, so this is the first time they'll be collected in one place.

Much like the X-Men movies at Disney+, this collection will likely be part of the Marvel Legacy, making it easy to find. No word yet on whether The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Venom: Let There Be Carnage, or even Morbius will be added.

The last Spider-Man solo movie, No Way Home, is also a joint Sony and Disney production, and there's still no indication of whether it will join the other six films confirmed to be on the way. Despite its uncertain streaming situation, the movie was a massive success at the box office when it was released in 2021, pulling in almost $2 billion worldwide.
