The latest NBA title from 2K Sports has received critical acclaim, thanks to its improvements in the game engine and modes. In lieu of its release and fanfare, Singapore basketball group Jumpshot Basketball Academy announced recently that it will be hosting the NBA 2K12 Ultimate B-Ball Challenge on October 28 at Bedok View Secondary School, Singapore. The competition will be held from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. Singapore time.

In the challenge, teams of six players representing their school will play a three-on-three courtside basketball matchup, a one-on-one NBA 2K12 video game match on the PlayStation 3, and a two-on-two Jordan vs. LeBron debate over who is the better basketball legend. The school to win the competition will receive S$10,000 ($7,914) sponsorship money.
