Singapore Chinese Girls School win NBA 2K basketball competition

School prevails in the competition that mixes 5-on-5 basketball, cheerleading, and the PS3 version of NBA 2K13.

The winners of the NBA 2K13 Ultimate B-Ball competition were decided yesterday.

The team from Singapore Chinese Girls School won the tournament and was awarded S$10,000. They scored a total of 87 points from a 5-on-5 basketball match, team cheerleading and a one-on-one NBA 2K13 battle using the PS3 version of the title.

The team consisted of students Woon Wei Jing, Chloe Alphonso, Charmaine Koh, Ong Li Ping, Bernice Yeo, Ceres Suwe, and Rachel Mok. They beat Anglo Chinese School New Town Secondary School, with the former and latter schools at second and third place respectively.

The event took place at the CCAB Multipurpose Hall and had 27 teams competing from different schools across the country. For more information on the game itself, check out GameSpot's review.
