The new show takes place in Dreamland, a medieval kingdom where Bean (Broad City's Abbi Jacobson), Elfo (Friends From College's Nat Faxon), and Luci (The Eric Andre Show's Eric André) go on adventures in this fantasy world.

Additionally, the show will feature the voice talents of Jeny Batten, Matt Berry, John DiMaggio, Noel Fielding, Billy West, Tress MacNeille, and Lucy Montgomery. Josh Weinstein (Futurama, The Simpsons) and Groening will serve as executive producers.

Groening's biggest series, The Simpsons, has been in the news quite a bit recently. The series hit its 636th episode, which surpassed Gunsmoke, and The Simpsons claimed the title of the most number of episodes for a prime time scripted TV series. Additionally, there's been some controversy with the way the show replied to the documentary The Problem With Apu. Groening responded and said that "people love to pretend they're offended."
