Want to play the Silent Storm: Demo but can't read Cyrillic? Until yesterday, you were out of luck, as Russian developer Nival Interactive had only released a Russian-language demo of the upcoming expansion to its critically acclaimed strategy game.

However, today Nival has released an English-language version of the expansion, which will feature secret plots unfolding during the middle of World War II. Available on GameSpot DLX, the demo puts players in control of a group of mercenaries hired to stop Thor's Hammer, a renegade group attempting to (naturally) take over the world. The expansion takes place just after WWII with all-new weapons, locations, missions, and characters. The official Silent Storm: Sentinels Web site has more details on the game.
