Wargame developer Shrapnel Games announced today that it will publish Steel Beasts, a tank-combat simulation. According to Shrapnel Games, Steel Beasts will be "a true tanker's sim," since it will accurately model tanks, infantry, and artillery, and the real-world field tactics that apply to each. Steel Beasts will include both the M1A1 and the Leopard 2A4 - the most popular battle tank in European field operations. In addition, the game will factor details like tank speed, terrain type and elevation, and realistic damage modeling into gameplay. Steel Beasts is due out this July.
