Shipping: Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2000

What's a basketball star doing in a PC golf game?

Comments

Electronic Arts has started shipping the latest iteration of its Tiger Woods PC golf games to stores this morning. Unlike any other golf game available, however, EA Sports' Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2000 features basketball legend Michael Jordan. It's only logical for Electronic Arts to make use of its Jordan license, as the ex-Chicago Bulls forward still likes to get his golf on.

"Michael may have been too busy running basketball operations for the Wizards to have been my partner at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am last month, but now with Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2000, I can still school him on the golf course every day," said Tiger Woods in a press release issued this morning. "Since we compete in every other medium against each other, now we can go head to head in computer golf too."

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2000 should be available in stores today for around US$39.95.
