Shinsengumi site opens

Genki has launched a Web site for its upcoming PlayStation 2 game Shinsengumi. Shinsengumi is an action game based on the historical Shinsengumi military group in the late Edo period in Japan. The objective of the game is to take control of the Shinsengumi squad and secure the nation's capital from samurai, who have started a revolution against the growing foreign influences and the government itself, whose power is getting weaker.

Shinsengumi is scheduled for release this winter.
