Shao Lin Update

Shao Lin, the PlayStation fighter from THQ, isn't due out till this summer, but we recently received new screenshots and information about the game's story mode.

Shao Lin is a four-player fighter, and features six different styles of martial arts fighting (Shao-lin, Hung Gar, Jeet Kune Do, Eight Drunken Sages, T'ai Chi, and P'a Ch'ih). When you're not playing with friends, however, you can choose the single-player story mode, which contains a number of RPG elements.

In story mode, your characters develops and progresses. Your ability to fight will vary with how much food and sleep you get, as well as with how well you learn and perfect the martial arts style you've chosen. More than 50 enemies populate story mode, and once you've unlocked them you can play them in vs. mode.
