Nightdive Studios continues its trend of reviving cult-classics with the return of Shadow Man, the 1999 action game originally developed for PC, Nintendo 64, and PlayStation by Acclaim. Now you can experience it again, more than 20 years later, with Shadow Man Remastered for PC.

The first gameplay trailer for the remaster, debuted at the PC Gaming Show, doesn't immediately make clear what work has been done to modernize this classic. Nightdive says that Shadow Man Remastered will run at up to 4K, and features small gameplay tweaks to the game's combat and AI to make it play a little better than the original. Take a look at the gameplay below.

Shadow Man is based on a comic series from Valiant, and features a lot of monsters that you can combat with strange magic. The atmosphere is dark and gloomy, which does mask the game's age rather well while retaining a sense of dread.

Shadow Man Remastered is expected to launch sometime in 2021 on PC. Nightdive is also working on System Shock Remastered, which got a new gameplay trailer today too.
