Following the recent release of a remastered version for PC, we now have a live-action short based on Shadow Complex.

The 2.5D Metroidvania-style game was first released for Xbox 360 in 2009. It features the character Jason Fleming (voiced by Nolan North, of course) taking on a variety of soldiers, helicopters, and mechs, all of which you'll see in the short above from YouTube channel Dark Pixel. It even features Fleming's voice (as well as that of another character, Claire) in a few spots.

It's a really well-done video, looking quite authentic. Dark Pixel says a behind-the-scenes video is on the way to its YouTube channel, where you'll also find its other live-action videos based on games.

As was rumored, Shadow Complex Remastered was recently confirmed for PC, Xbox One, and PS4. The PC version is out now and is available to download for free until the end of the year from the official website. The console versions are expected out next year.

In addition to Shadow Complex Remastered, developer Chair is working with Star Wars: The Force Awakens director J.J. Abrams on a new game called Spyjinx.
