Actor, writer, director, and pot enthusiast Seth Rogen is speaking out to assure fans that he has not been kidnapped, following a silly TikTok video that became very popular on the social media app.

Rogen posts a lot of photos of his pottery on social media, leading TikTok user @chriscanbefunny to joke that he was in fact kidnapped by a "shady ceramicist" who has Rogen tied up and tweets from his account to make people believe everything is normal. The whole video is a delight, and even Rogen himself acknowledged, "This video is very funny." However, the real Rogen said it is "not at all true."

"I have not been kidnapped!" he wrote. "This is not a kidnapped writing this from Seth's account! I promise!"

Which is exactly what the kidnapper would want you to believe...

Speaking to GQ UK, Rogen said he enjoys pottery because it helps calm his mind and be present. "It makes you very present and focused on whatever it is you're doing at any given moment," he said. "It's hard to dwell on other things when you're doing pottery."
