Take-Two Interactive and Croteam have announced that Serious Sam: The Second Encounter will be premiered at 30 iGames LAN centers across the US. The LAN centers will host the first-person shooter sequel from February 5-11, giving players a free hour of playtime. A select group of centers will also host a sneak peek at the game on February 3.

Serious Sam: The Second Encounter is the follow-up to Serious Sam: The First Encounter, the fast-paced action game that recently won GameSpot's 2001 PC Game of the Year award.

The new game was created by Croteam, the Croatian game studio that created the previous game, and it will be available in stores on February 5 for an approximate retail price of $19.99.
