The titles revealed to be displayed at the Tokyo Game Show include: Kunoichi (PS2), Sonic Battle (GBA), Sonic Heroes (PS2, GC, Xbox), Astro Boy (GBA), Dororo (PS2), Puyo Puyo Fever (PS2, GC, Xbox, DC), Kaijuu no Shima: Amazing Island (GC), Lilypad Oukoku (GBA), Derbytsuku 3: Derby Uma o Tsukurou (PS2, DC), Pro Yakyuu Team o Tsukurou! 2002 (PS2), and Derby Owners Club Online.

Derbytsuku 3 is a horse track racing simulation game, and Pro Yakyuu Team o Tsukurou is a baseball simulation.

Of the announced titles, Puyo Puyo Fever, Kaijuu no Shima: Amazing Island, and Lilypad Oukoku are new. Puyo Puyo Fever is the next release in the Puyo Puyo puzzle game series, while Kaijuu no Shima is a 3D monster creation game. Lilypad Oukoku is a game based on a popular Japanese TV show.

At the press event, the chief of Sega's consumer sector, Hideki Okamura, commented on Japan's deteriorating video game market. Okamura proudly stated that Japan's game industry is still the leading game market in the world--one he considers to be five years ahead of the European market.

Okamura also commented that while the European market currently enjoys strong sales, what is happening in Japan will eventually happen in Europe and other parts of the world.

In related news, the company announced retail prices for a number of upcoming titles. They are:

Kunoichi (PS2): December 4 - $60 (6,980 Yen)

Add-on quests for Episode 2 will be packaged in the bundle as well and will be playable offline.
