Complementing its Dreamcast Mobile Assault Tour, which launched last week, Sega has partnered up with MTV to showcase a number of hip-hop, techno/electronica, and rock bands in an event it affectionately calls the Family Values Tour.

The tour, which runs from September 21 through November 7, will headline Limp Bizkit, Filter, DMX, Method Man & Redman, and Crystal Method, and will stop at more than 24 major US cities.

"The Family Values Tour hits the sweet spot in the mass-market video-game enthusiast universe," said Sega senior VP of marketing Peter Moore. "The tour is a key component in our crusade to ensure that the Sega Dreamcast will be everywhere our target customer is."

Attendees will find several Dreamcast kiosks showing off a number of launch games at each of the tour's stops.
