Sega GT is now available for purchase in stores across North America. In the new Dreamcast racer, players can modify existing cars or even create new ones from scratch. The car workshop mode allows racers to tweak their vehicles to the nth degree - over 2 million car/part combinations are possible. There are 20 tracks for players to race their creations against the clock, the computer, or a friend. Die-hard fans can trade lap times and their vehicular creations on the Internet using the Dreamcast VMU. The game also features one-of-a-kind cars, like the Dodge Viper GTS/R, the Ford Cobra, and the Mitsubishi Twin Turbo.

"Sega GT takes racing games to the next level, offering gamers a unique experience every time they play," said Rich Briggs, product manager for Sega of America. "With car customization and Internet elements, Sega GT offers extensive replayability and adrenaline-packed fun for racing enthusiasts and casual gamers alike, making it the most realistic driving simulation ever."

The game carries a suggested price of US$39.99.
