Sega Europe names Italian distributor

Sega Europe enters into an Italian distribution agreement with Leader.

Sega Europe has today announced an agreement with Leader to distribute its titles in Italy. The distribution agreement covers Sega Europe's entire portfolio, which includes such titles as Football Manager 2005, Sega SuperStars, OutRun2, and Worms Forts: Under Siege.

"We are pleased to be working with Leader and its team across Italy," said Mike Hayes, managing director at Sega Europe. "Sega Europe is committed to European growth, and Leader is very well placed within the Italian market to help us achieve this."

"We are delighted to be working with a publisher of Sega's status and experience," added John Holder, president of Leader. "We know that Sega will be giving us top-quality products, and this, together with Leader's distribution strength, will allow us to increase Sega's market share in the Italian market significantly."
