Best Gaming Deals Today (May 21): Apex Legends, Resident Evil, And More

Another week is here, bringing a brand-new batch of discounted games, tech, and more. From PC and PS4 to Nintendo Switch, there are plenty of great deals floating around today and throughout the week, including a huge sale at the Epic Games Store and an exciting free game, a steep discount on the Sega Genesis Mini, and a year of PlayStation Plus for over $20 off. Apex Legends Bloodhound and Lifeline Editions

While Apex Legends is free to play, the popular online shooter has physical editions that star one of the legends from the game and include 1,000 Apex Coins along with Legendary skin for that character, a weapon skin, an exclusive banner, and an exclusive badge. Normally sold for $20 each, these collectible physical editions are on sale for $6 each today. The Bloodhound Edition is currently sold out at Amazon, but the Lifeline Edition is still available for $6, and Walmart has both editions in stock at that price.

Free memory card when you buy two digital Switch games

From now until May 23, Walmart is offering a free 128GB Nintendo Switch memory card when you buy two digital Switch games from a select offering of first-party titles. Depending on what games you choose, you'll spend between $106 and $120 on the bundle--that's not much of a savings, but getting a free microSD card on top of what you'd normally pay anyway isn't shabby. Resident Evil Xbox One Pre-Owned Games Bundle

The Super Mario Lego sets proved popular when they were first made available for pre-order last month, selling out quickly. But now, a new round of pre-order is available at Amazon and other retailers, so you can secure these Mario-themed sets for yourself ahead of their release on August 1. Sega Genesis Mini

One of the best mini retro consoles in recent years is on sale this week at multiple retailers. Normally $80, the Sega Genesis Mini is discounted to $50 today and comes pre-loaded with 40 classic games, from Sonic the Hedgehog and Castlevania: Bloodlines to Golden Axe and Ecco the Dolphin. The system also comes with two controllers so you can play multiplayer titles with someone else. While this isn't the cheapest we've ever seen the Genesis Mini, it's still rare to find it at this price and a solid purchase for fans of the original console.

SNK Neo Geo Mini Samurai Shodown Limited Edition Bundle

The limited-edition Samurai Shodown model of the Neo Geo Mini comes with 40 classic games, including all six Samurai Shodown games released on the system, and it's on sale right now for $50 off. The Xbox Store's latest sale features a fantastic discount on one of 2019's best games. The story-driven stealth-adventure game A Plague Tale: Innocence is on sale for just $12.49 on Xbox One today, an absolute steal for this underrated gem.

Persona 5 Royal released March 31 on PS4, offering an expanded version of the critically acclaimed JRPG. Yakuza Remastered Collection

Ahead of Yakuza: Like a Dragon, experience Kazuma Kiryu's story in the Yakuza Remastered Collection, which compiles remastered versions of Yakuza 3, 4, and 5. All three games are available with 1080p graphics at 60 frames per second, and the collection adds content that was missing from the original Western releases. It's on sale for $40, down from $60.

Nioh 2

One of the most recent PS4 exclusives, Nioh 2, is on sale for $40 at Amazon today. Released in March, Nioh 2 is a Japanese action-RPG and sequel to 2017's Nioh. The game earned an 8/10 in GameSpot's Nioh 2 review for its precise combat, enemy and level variety, and challenging boss battles.

Epic Mega Sale's $10 coupon deal
