343 Industries will showcase Halo 5: Guardians' December DLC, The Cartographer's Gift, through a livestream later today, the developer has announced.

The presentation begins at 3 PM PST / 6 PM EST. You can watch the entire event right here in this post through the Twitch player embedded below.

The Cartographer's Gift adds one new Warzone map and three fresh Arena environments, as well as more than 50 new Reqs. Players can also look forward to Forge mode, which includes a series of refinements and improvements.

Everything in the update is free.

It launches sometime next week, though a specific release date has not been announced. That might be one of the announcements during the broadcast, though this is not confirmed.

The Cartographer's Gift follows November's free update, Battle of Shadow and Light, which was the first expansion to the game following its launch at the end of October. 343 will continue to support the shooter with new content through at least June 2016.
